For many companies, it isn't always cost effective to have a team working in house to spearhead a purchasing process from procurement/strategic sourcing, to the logistics of coordinating delivery and controlling budgets. Also, individuals in the entertainment industry or business owners are sometimes reluctant to trust and confide in a third party to spearhead fulfilling their life/business management needs.

There is sometimes a fear of outsourcing help from third party companies, because third parties sometimes lack compassion, a sense of urgency, and overall ownership of their client's needs. I, myself, have witnessed this disappointment first hand in the past as I've worked for companies that outsourced help for teams I've worked with. I found that outsourcing the wrong company can bring problems rather than solutions.
